No. Our shampoo bars have SCS sulfates which are not harmful.

Sodium Coco Sulfate (SCS) sulfates aren’t harmful. Sodium Coco Sulfate is not the same as Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS) which is the sulfate that started all the drama. Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS) can penetrate the skin and cause irritation, not to be confused with SCS. Sodium Coco Sulfate (SCS) is a mix of all the fatty acids of coconut oil, which means it is gentle on your scalp and will not irritate your skin. It produces excellent lathering, thickening, and conditioning properties and produces that lather we love.

Fun Fact:
Sulfate free was actually designed for kids to be “tear free” because
it’s gentler but as adults it causes buildup and doesn’t cleanse. You
have to add conditioning ingredients to sulfate free to make it feel
like it’s working. Sulfate free just doesn’t clean your hair as well.

I began using bar shampoo and conditioner about a year ago. My hair is beginning to turn gray and I was loosing so much hair when I washed it. I have purchased from Walmart, from Humby (wonderful fragrance but expensive) and a homemade set from Etsy (wonderful fragrance but the conditioner was VERY waxy) Finally, Loxy scrolled into my life! I love these bar sets. I have started washing my hair every other day and no longer have the greasy, itchy scalp at the end of day 2! I love these bars!!!!

This product smells amazing. I couldn't believe how much the shampoo lathered and how easy the conditioner went on my hair. I have very fine medium length hair. I can tell a difference already. I am going to order a set as a gift and I will definitely order again for myself.

First off, the scent is fabulous. My husband is crazy about how my hair has been smelling! The shampoo lathers VERY well, I was impressed. A++! The conditioner takes some extra time to coat from root to tip, but does a decent job. I give a B- on the conditioner. I will be a repeat customer.
