No. Our shampoo bars have SCS sulfates which are not harmful.

Sodium Coco Sulfate (SCS) sulfates aren’t harmful. Sodium Coco Sulfate is not the same as Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS) which is the sulfate that started all the drama. Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS) can penetrate the skin and cause irritation, not to be confused with SCS. Sodium Coco Sulfate (SCS) is a mix of all the fatty acids of coconut oil, which means it is gentle on your scalp and will not irritate your skin. It produces excellent lathering, thickening, and conditioning properties and produces that lather we love.

Fun Fact:
Sulfate free was actually designed for kids to be “tear free” because
it’s gentler but as adults it causes buildup and doesn’t cleanse. You
have to add conditioning ingredients to sulfate free to make it feel
like it’s working. Sulfate free just doesn’t clean your hair as well.

Love the shampoo! But the conditioner is a bit too hard to get a good amount.

This is my second time ordering the soothe shampoo and conditioner and I am absolutely hooked! It is great for my wavy/curly hair and lasts me roughly 6 months (my hair is down to my lower back so that's saying something). I have a semi dry scalp and I feel like this does a great job of keeping dandruff away in the winter but isn't too heavy in the summer. I love that I don't have to switch products with the seasons and it doesn't weigh down my hair either. It was a little bit of a learning curve with the bar conditioner but once you get in the groove on how to work it through it works great! I've recommended this to multiple people in my family and multiple of us now use it. I'm happy I found a clean product that my curls love!

Love the smell and quality of these bars. The shampoo bar works amazingly! It lathers super easy and smells great! The conditioner bar takes a little more time to actually work into your hair and doesn't lather like the shampoo. It smells amazing just not as strong as the shampoo. I really liked the combo of these two bars and will absolutely order again. I look forward to trying all the different scents! Great purchase!

This shampoo and conditioner bar is fantastic! They are super easy to lather and make my hair feel so much cleaner than with the previous head and shoulders I was using. I've also noticed that less of my hair falls out using these bars than with head and shoulders. With head and shoulders, I would be standing in a puddle of water in the shower because my hair was blocking the drain but that doesn't happen now that I'm using these bars. Definitely recommend!
